Proudly owned and operated by Alex Gaynor, SoCal Powerlifting has proudly been serving the powerlifting community since 2017.
We noticed a gap in the industry, with only two options for coaching:
1) Daily personal training- which gets expensive quick and can be difficult to schedule
2) Online Coaching- lacks community and the in-person touch
SoCal Powerlifting bridges this gap with a hybrid approach of online and in person training at SCPL, you get a custom built program from your coach, monthly 1-on-1 sessions in the gym with your coach working through your hardest lifts, and gym access to our state-of-the-art powerlifting facility.
SoCal Powerlifting has now has served thousands of lifters, focusing on those getting more into powerlifting. For beginner powerlifters, the sport can be daunting and intimidating. At SCPL, we serve guidance in the gym and on the platform. In the gym, we help lifters get comfortable with the squat, bench, and deadlift, while working on accessory movements as well to support their individual goals and weak points. On the platform, we guide lifters through their meets to ensure a successful meet day.
